When to Arrive: Please plan to arrive at the canopy 1.5 hours before your race. Since parking will be challenging, err on the side of caution.
Parking: This is a big meet and parking can be a challenge. Once the parking lots fill up, people parallel park in the surrounding neighborhood. The later your race, the bigger challenge parking will be.
Where to Find Us: Our yellow team canopy will be located in the grassy area between Texas St and Joe Schloss Way. The area is just south of the parking lot that runs parallel to Upas. (See yellow star on this map/photo.)
Course Details: Here is the course map. The white line is the first mile, which ends just as athletes go up the one larger hill. The second mile is a yellow line and the final mile is red.
Live results will be available on FinishedResults.
What to Bring: Uniform, warm-up shirt, XC jacket, water bottle, sunscreen, running shoes, racing flats, and a snack. Boys may wear compression shorts under their uniform but they must be all black; if there is a logo, it must be smaller than 2 ¼ square inches.
Jewelry & GPS Watches: Jewelry is allowed. However runners are NOT supposed to wear GPS watches during a race. If they are wearing a watch that has both time and GPS functions, they need to make sure it is set to the time function only. The basis for this rule is that runners should not have outside assistance for their running pace during a race.
Face and Body Decorations Prohibited: An athlete who has visibly decorated/painted any part of his/her face or body will not be allowed to enter the clerk/starting area until all traces of any decoration(s) have been completely removed. This does not apply to hair color.
Spectators: There isn't any information on the race website in terms of spectators except that there won't be any food concessions. No entrance or parking fees. Permanent bathrooms are situated throughout the park, and porta potties will be set up behind the starting line.
We hope to see everyone at the race, cameras ready!!
