Great job Falcons! Torrey Pines's boys and girls teams, both won!
Reinhard Bartsch and Josh Mendez outkicked the San Marcos runners to huge PR's in the 1600m varsity. Sebastian Barclay and Cormac O'Brien ran one and two in the varsity 800m. In the JV 800m, Philip Jian, Cameron Nelson, and Kai Scott had PR's. In the 3200m, James Cusack, Johnathan Hidle, and Derek Rodriguez had great races and all PR'd.
On the girls side, Kiana Bourgeois won the varsity 800m, while in the JV 800m, Olivia Schroeder, Meera Sharma, and Ava Holt raced to PR's. In the JV 1600m, Analiese Baldwin and Satya Vargas had PR's too. Baila Thompson PR'd on the 1600m, and then PR'd again in the 800m.
Saturday is the Mt Carmel Invite. Good luck to all of the qualifiers!
