Saturday, 9.07.19, 8:00am, at Kit Carson Park
Saturday: first race! Bronco Invitational. Kit Carson Park, Escondido. 2 mile race for everyone. Parents will need to drive athletes and arrive 1.5 hours before the start time of his/her race. This will serve as the make-up time trial for those who did not do the time trial. As soon as Coach has the information, the detailed roster with specific race times will be posted.
Kit Carson Park, 3333 Bear Valley Pkwy, Escondido, CA 92033 The race area is located across the parking lot from the Girl Scouts. Parking can be a challenge, so please plan accordingly. Look for our team under the gold and cardinal TPHS tent at the picnic tables near the finish area.
Course: All races 2.0 miles of mostly dirt and grass with one significant hill. Awards: Medals to first 35 finishers in each race.
- Please bring to meet: racing singlet and shorts, training shoes, racing flats (if you own them), a watch, and a very large water bottle.
- Please make sure to eat carbs 1-2 hours before your race (ideas: toast with pb or almond butter and a banana, oatmeal, bagel, sandwich, etc.)
